The 快猫短视频 student chapter of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Fellows Program will host a bipartisan look 鈥淏ehind the Scenes with Election Officials鈥� on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. in Winants Auditorium of Graves Hall.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
The event will look inside the ballot-counting and vote-reporting process with Justin Roebuck, a Republican who is county clerk and register of deeds in Ottawa County; and Jane Longstreet, a Democrat who is deputy clerk of Robinson Township. It is being co-sponsored by the college鈥檚 Hope Democrats, Hope Republicans and Vox Populi student organizations.
The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Fellows Program is an initiative of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation. Inspired by President Ford鈥檚 virtue-anchored leadership, it has three programmatic aims: leadership development, civic engagement and community betterment. In addition to Hope, there are currently campus chapters at Albion College, Aquinas College, Calvin University, Davenport University, Grand Valley State University and Houston Christian University.
