    David Lee, who is advancement director at Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates and a èƵ graduate, will present the college’s 2024 Asian Heritage Lecture on Tuesday, April 9, at 4 p.m. in the Maas Center auditorium.

    Retired English Professor Peter Schakel Dies

    Retired English professor Dr. Peter Schakel, who across his nearly 50 years on the faculty earned national acclaim as a scholar and appreciation and respect from students and colleagues as a teacher and for his service, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. He was 82.

    Pre-Veterinary Students Honored During National Conference

    Two Holland-area students who are members of the Club Animalia veterinary club at èƵ were honored during the national symposium of the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association (APVMA) held on Friday and Saturday, March 8 and 9, at North Carolina State University.

    Jane Dickie to Present Affirming LGBTQ+ Students Lecture on March 21

    Dr. Jane Dickie, a retired member of the èƵ psychology faculty who was the founding director of the college’s women’s and gender studies program, will present the college’s 2024 Affirming LGBTQ+ Students Lecture on Thursday, March 21, at 4 p.m. in the Maas Center auditorium.

    If you know of a high school student interested in learning more about the many aspects of worship arts, there’s a weeklong camp at èƵ this summer they need to know about. Awakening focuses on developing high school students’ skills in areas like visual arts, dance, preaching and technology.
