    Below is a list of recent èƵ graduates who have been awarded graduation honors for outstanding academic accomplishment during their four years of study.

    èƵ is ready to celebrate Day of Giving

    èƵ’s 10th annual Day of Giving is this Thursday and Friday, Feb. 22–23, 2024. The 36-hour fundraising frenzy raises money for student scholarships from the Hope Fund, and for academic and co-curricular programs across campus, including Hope Forward.

    Stephen Maiullo Named Dean of Arts and Humanities

    èƵ has appointed an experienced and respected campus leader as dean of arts and humanities, naming current faculty member Dr. Stephen Maiullo to the role following a national search.

    èƵ exhibit highlights African artwork

    WGVU

    An exhibit highlighting modern African art is currently on display in Holland Deep Roots, New Shoots: Modern and Contemporary African Art from the KAM Collection features forty African artworks created between the 1960s and the early 2020s.

    Musical Showcase Photo Gallery

    The 35th annual èƵ Musical Showcase was presented on Friday, Feb. 9. The concert featured 200 èƵ students performing in the Department of Music’s major instrumental and vocal ensembles and soloists.

    Great Performance Series to Feature Galvin Cello Quartet on Feb. 29

    The èƵ Great Performance Series will feature the internationally diverse Galvin Cello Quartet on Thursday, Feb. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts. The award-winning quartet is comprised of members from China, Brazil, South Korea and the United States.

    Lectures Will Focus on Nanotechnology and Its Social Impact

    Dr. Naomi J. Halas of Rice University will focus on nanotechnology and its social impact through two lectures while at èƵ on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 15-16, through the college’s James and Jeanette Neckers Lectureship in Chemistry.

    Hope Theatre to Present “John Proctor is the Villain”

    The Department of Theatre at èƵ will present Kimberly Belflower’s “John Proctor is the Villain” on Friday-Sunday, Feb. 23-25, and Thursday-Sunday, Feb. 29-March 3, in the 75-seat studio theatre of the DeWitt Student and Cultural Center.

    èƵ Presents Dance 50 on Feb. 9-10 and 15-17

    The Department of Dance at èƵ will present its annual concert, Dance 50 this year, on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9 and 10, and Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 15-17, at 7:30 p.m. in the DeWitt Center main theatre.
