    Author Dana VanderLugt, whose book 鈥淓nemies in the Orchard: A World War 2 Novel in Verse鈥 recalls the use of German prisoners of war on farms in West Michigan during World War II, will be featured at 快猫短视频 in an on-stage conversation with retired English professor Jack Ridl on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. in Winants Auditorium of Graves Hall.

    Fall 2023 Dean's List Announced

    The Registrar鈥檚 Office is pleased to announce Dean鈥檚 List recipients for the fall semester. The Dean鈥檚 List is awarded to full-time, degree-seeking students who have received grades for all courses in a given semester (no incompletes) and have a semester GPA of 3.50 or above. 快猫短视频 Registrar鈥檚 Office considers this a significant achievement.

    StrikeTime Dance Theatre Concert for Children Rescheduled to Jan. 20

    快猫短视频 dance affiliate StrikeTime Dance Theatre will present a live dance event for children, 鈥淒ancing Through the Pages: Illustrations,鈥 on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland. The performance was originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 12, but was postponed due to the recent winter storm.

    Derik Smith "Courage in Sports: Gridiron Greatness"

    快猫短视频 junior two-sport athlete Derik Smith was featured on a nationwide CBS program "Courage in Sports: Gridiron Heroes" on Veteran's Day in 2023. Smith uses a prosthetic leg to play football and compete in track and field for the Flying Dutchmen.

    Lecture on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to Examine King鈥檚 Legacy and Launch 40th Anniversary of Hope鈥檚 Center for Diversity and Inclusion

    This year鈥檚 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Civil Rights Lecture at 快猫短视频 will include national as well as local perspective. Hope Professor Emeritus John Yelding, a specialist in diversity in education who continues to be active at the college as a teacher and mentor, will present 鈥淩eflections on MLK, Civil Rights, and DEI at 快猫短视频鈥 on Monday, Jan. 15, at 2 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.
